I enjoy working with various subjects both outdoors in plein air and in the studio. Since 2008, my primary interest has been the male figure. Once I started concentrating on the figure, I began my exploration of portraiture.

Emphasizing the emotional drama of light and color, I place the figure within an atmospheric context that suggests a personal narrative. I give the viewer an intimate voyeuristic opportunity into the psychology and projection of male identification in personal moments from everyday life.

I am based in San Francisco with a long history in Provincetown, MA. I frequent New York City and Fire Island, and am available for portrait commissions.
